In partnership with Margaritaville Beach Resort, Beach Talk Radio is hosting the first of three Fort Myers Beach Town Council candidate forums on Wednesday, June 24th at 5PM.
This is an important election for Fort Myers Beach. 5 candidates have filed to fill 3 open seats: Anita Cereceda, Tom Brady, Rebecca Link, John McLean and Ed Schoonover.
This event will be held in the Margaritaville ballroom and is open to the public. We will take questions from the live and online audience. We will broadcast the forum on our Facebook page and our YouTube Channel.
***The deadline to file is today. If anyone else qualifies to run they will also be invited to participate.
Please ask them if they support the LDC and Comp Plans the way they were intended as a Yes/No question, no political spinning of the response. Until this Town is disbanded and turned back over to Lee County, supporting the LDC and Comp Plans should be pre-requisites to running for Town Council.
