No Injuries in Thursday House Fire

Fort Myers Beach Fire Chief Ron Martin told Beach Talk Radio News the 2nd Alarm fire Thursday evening at 6120 Court street is under investigation. 15 trucks responded to the blaze. There were no injuries in the blaze.

Martin said the fire was on the ground floor and the 3-story home was being used for storage for 6 other locations on the island. That made the fire a little more difficult for firefighters to put out.

We left a message with the owner of the house but did not hear back as of this evening.

  1. Oh so this fire was investigated but not the former town managers house fire. I am retired Fire and if FMB Fire could not have investigated then the State Fire Marshal’s office should have. I understand the chain of evidence was broken but that fire should have been investigated due to the circumstances.
