We asked him about the 105 properties on FEMA’s list, how and why this all happened, and what his thoughts were on whether this can be reversed.

There are golf cart rental companies on the beach using other businesses properties to operate. Was there a special use permit needed to operate a business within a business? If so, who give the approval Dan?
There is a process in place to get a temporary use permit to operate a business on another businesses location. It is reviewed and approved by staff. Again, it is only temporary and is being discussed at today’s LPA meeting before coming back to the council.
