Will we never! Have the community pool reopened. Many of you might have private pool but I don’t. I’m in need of a pool soon to help in my recovery from a spinal cord post surgical complication.
You need to ask the mayor Dan Allers what the hell were they thinking on not doing New Years fireworks and the decision not to do them this 4 th of July. The town is short sighted, these events bring in thousands of tourists and visitors to the island not just that day but a tradition that they plan for and come back every year for. The decision not to do them this year will have years of negative consequences. People will just go to other SWF towns that are doing fireworks and we will loose them for man years. Not to mention why this was not told to the local businesses until the last minute that there would be no New Years fireworks, businesses who rely heavily on these events. The town management of FMB seems to be anti business and progress. This year the Times Square and business district was a ghost Town compared to last New Years Eve . The town management should be replaced with people who understand better how to get FMB back to 100% . It has been 3 1/2 years
