According to the City of Sanibel, Turner Beach Park will be closed for construction from Tuesday, September 8 through Friday November 6.
The work being done includes the removal and replacement of the rip-rap revetment along the south side of the park, drainage improvements throughout the entire park, ADA accessibility improvements and dune restoration. The Lee County Tourist Development Council (TDC) is providing funding for this project.
