Terry Dalton, with an address listed as “transient on Fort Myers Beach,” is set to appear in court on July 6th after being accused of attacking a Plaka employee on Fort Myers Beach last week. Here’s what happened.

It all started when, according to the police report, 56-year old Terry Dalton was being belligerent, going from table to table asking customers for their food Friday morning at Plaka’s restaurant in Times Square.

According to the report Dalton was drunk and disorderly when a Plaka employee asked him to leave. Daltan began cursing at her, then flipped a table and picked up one of the restaurants chairs and threw it at the employee.

Dalton then said he was going to return with a gun and kill the employee. On his way down the square, Dalton also picked up a metal sign and another chair from Kilwins and threw them at the Plaka employee.

Dalton was eventually restrained by customers and employees until deputies arrived and arrested him. He was charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct and taken to the Lee County Jail.

$5,000 bond was set on the assault charge, $750 on the disorderly conduct charge.
