London Bay Asks For LPA Continuance
After a 7 hour meeting on the London Bay project Tuesday, no decision was made by the Local Planning Agency. London Bay CEO Mark Wilson asked for a continuance when LPA members said they wanted him to reduce his highest building from 177 feet to 158.

California investment company Sugar Beach Estates owns 4 neglected homes on Estero Boulevard that have not been touched since Hurricane Ian. It’s now up to the town to secure the properties.
Ground Breaking Set For Food Truck Park
A new commercial business operation will be open later this year. The owners of the new food truck park on Estero Boulevard across from the old Town Hall property plan to break ground on their new facility Monday, June 8th at 9AM.
Casino Night Raises Over $20,000
Last weekend The Fort Myers Beach Communty Foundation held its annual King of Diamonds Casino Night at Margaritaville Resort where over $20,000 was raised. That money will be given back to the community during an upcoming Foundation meeting.
Free Tram Ends Next Week
With another busy season coming to an end on Fort Myers Beach, Lee County announced the free tram will run its last route Wednesday, April 22nd. Lee County provides the free tram every season with TDC funds.
Property Tax Reform is Coming
