County Approves $1.54 Million in TDC Funds For FMB

A total of $4.4 million in TDC funding was awarded for Beach and Shoreline projects to local communities by the Lee County Board of Commissioners on Monday. Fort Myers Beach received $1.54 million of the $4.4 million.

Land Swap Between Town, Fire District is Dead

For months the Town and Fort Myers Beach Fire District had been negotiating a possible land swap of two properties on Estero Boulevard. The town was hoping to trade its town hall land for the former Topps property, which the fire district owns. That deal is officially dead.
