Donalds Town Hall Canceled
On Tuesday, Congressman Byron Donalds canceled his Town Hall event that was planned for Wednesday night at the Beach Baptist Church on Fort Myers Beach. No reason was given by the Donalds camp for canceling the event.

New Restaurant Opens On Old San Carlos
Ocean Alley Restaurant and Beach Bar on Old San Carlos had its soft opening last night at 5PM. The new restaurant is located in the old Zushi Sushi location which closed down several months ago.
Committee Wants to Raise Rates By 25%
Back in June at the Fort Myers Beach Anchorage Advisory Committee meeting town staff suggested raising the rates in the mooring field by 32%. Committee members said that hike was too high.

With 64% of the vote Lindsay Scott Garza defeated incumbent Archie Hayward for Lee County Judge. Garza, the daughter of former Lee County Sheriff Mike Scott, defeated the 14-year incumbent with 76,671 votes to Hayward's 42,179. This election is non-partisan.
Donalds Also Wins Easily
Incumbent U.S. Congressman Byron Donalds won his primary challenge Tuesday with nearly 84% of the vote. His Republican challenger Jim Huff could only pull in 16%. Donalds will face off against Democrat Cindy Banyai in November.

Helping A Neighbor in Need
