The 2024 Beach Talk Radio show at the Fox River Brewing Company in Oshkosh, Wisconsin raised $6,355 for the Fort Myers Beach Art Association. Several hundred people came out to watch the show and donate to a beloved organization on Fort Myers Beach.

So many of you were baffled that The Wyndham property was not on the town's first list of ten unsafe properties. Especially when one building on the list was demolished the day before the list came out and another was put on the list by mistake. Here's the latest on the Wyndham.

Three options to rebuild the Fort Myers Beach pier were on the table for the Lee County Board of Commissioners to consider on Tuesday. They wound up going with a longer, wider pier and putting an additional $11.6 million into the structure. The new pier will cost a total of $17.1 million and take 5 years to complete.

In 3 hours on Saturday, June 15 Beach Talk Radio followers participated in 50/50 raffles and spent their hard-earned money at 6 Fort Myers Beach restaurants. We raised $4,000 during our 2nd annual Pub Crawl and donated it all to the Fort Myers Beach Community Foundation.

To ensure every eligible voter has the opportunity to participate in the upcoming elections, the Lee County Supervisor of Elections office mailed Vote-by-Mail and Early Voting informational notices to approximately 348,000 Lee County voters on Monday, June 17.
