It’s going to be a very important Fort Myers Beach Town Council gathering this week.
At 4PM on Thursday council members will get an update on the Foot of the Bridge project from the Florida Department of Transportation and the FINAL presentation from consultant Town Lighting on the Estero Boulevard Lighting project.
At 5:00 you’ll find out if your taxes are going up when the council approves its final budget. And, maybe we’ll even hear if Mayor Murphy was able to secure his two free deputies.

3 crosswalks on the left are dangerous. Shouldn’t be there. People coming over the bridge possibly driving high rate of speed and you think a crosswalk is good there. Great job Florida DOT. That’s a sure killer.
