On Thursday, Kim & Dan Bennett and Todd Mueller, presented a check to Fort Myers Beach Mayor Dan Allers for $4,000. The money will be deposited into the Beach Talk Radio FMBRebuild fund and given to employees on the beach that lost their jobs.

The Beach Cleanup Continues

The next beach cleanup, hosted by Tunaskin, will be this Sunday beginning at 8AM. Tunaskin is partnering with Mid-Island Watersports, Keep Lee County Beautiful, and Jimmy Finch Cultivating Hope With Charm.

It's been a great week for businesses re-opening on Fort Myers Beach after Hurricane Ian. The small tiki bar at The Lighthouse is now open from 11am to 7pm.

Community Comes Through Big For The Kids

During our concert with Sheena Brook and D-Rox last Saturday night, toy donations poured in from the local community and our Facebook followers from around the country. At the event, contractor Mike Bannick Donated $5,000 to our FMBRebuild fund for employees on the beach and Tim and Cyndee Hill donated $10,000 to the Beach Kids Foundation.

That's been one of the biggest questions from residents lately and the United States Government has no answer for you. Beach residents have had to travel to Jetport Loop to pick up their mail, if it's even there for them, and have not been able to get any explanation on when mail service might return.
