On Thursday Lee County and other municipalities are teaming up to host a meeting with local licensed builders and contractors. The meeting is Thursday night from 4PM to 7PM in the Lee County Administration Building on 2nd street in Fort Myers.
You Can Dispute Your Comcast Bill
If you received a bill from Comcast in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, when there was no power or your service was completely disrupted, you do not have to pay it. That's according to a Comcast representative who came before the Fort Myers Beach town council Monday.

How Many FMB Structures Were Damaged By Ian
According to Clay County, FL Director of Emergency Management John Ward, who's been helping Fort Myers Beach for the passed 6 weeks, a total of 3,200 structures were impacted by Hurricane Ian. 900 were totally destroyed.
Here Comes The New Sand

Lee County Has Collected 4 Million Cubic Yards of Debris
That's equivalent to filling Hertz Arena with material to the ceiling 10 ½ times. Debris trucks in unincorporated Lee County collect more than 60,000 cubic yards of roadside debris each day. What about the beach sand?
State Kicking in $25 Million For Building Materials
On Monday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, First Lady Casey DeSantis and Division of Emergency Management Director Kevin Guthrie announced that up to $25 million in state funding will be made available to residents to purchase building materials.
