Exploring Mexico During Mound House Trip
Penny Jarrett will lead a group on an exploration of archeology, birds and butterflies in Mexico February 6th through the 15th. The trip, being offered through the Mound House International Travel Program and Holbrook Travel, starts in the Yucatán.

Greenwell Sworn In
Thanks to Governor Ron DeSantis, Mike Greenwell now occupies the Lee County Board seat that opened up when Frank Mann passed away last month. Greenwell was sworn in during the Lee County Commissioner meeting Tuesday morning.
Donalds Guest Speaker at Thursday Chamber Event
U.S. Congressman Byron Donalds will be the guest speaker at the Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce membership luncheon this Thursday at Doc Fords. The cost is $25 for FMB Chamber members and $35 for non-members. The luncheon begins at 11:30.

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce has hired Lee County Commissioner Brian Hamman as its new President & CEO. Hamman will continue in his role as Lee County Commissioner for District 4.
We Walked For Wellness

Window Tint Tops Monday’s Agenda
After over a month without meeting, the Fort Myers Beach Town Council returns to work Monday at 9AM. The first item on their agenda will be the final public hearing to roll back the requirement that window replacements and new installations be required to have light transmittance values of 15% or less.
Lions Club Rewards Community
Last night, at St. Raphael’s Episcopal Church, the Fort Myers Beach Lions held their annual Community Awards Night. Donations were handed out to several local organizations and students. They were awarded scholarships to help with their education in the 2022-2023 year.
