Eagle Released By CROW After 3-Month Rehab
(SANIBEL) The Bald Eagle was rescued on November 8 in Cape Coral after it was spotted struggling in the water of the South Spreader Waterway just south of Veterans Parkway.
Free Tarpon Clinic in March
The Fort Myers Beach Tarpon Hunters Club has announced its annual FREE Tarpon fishing and tackle clinic will be held March 3rd at 7:00pm at Bonita Bills Waterfront Cafe Clubhouse.

Pool To Get New Slide
On Tuesday the Town Council will consider replacing this slide at the Fort Myers Beach pool due to safety concerns. The company town staff selected will install a similar slide and "they can do it quickly." Town staff will recommend that the price of $98,000 for the new slide is fair.

Snug Harbor Fundraiser Today
On Tuesday from Noon to 6pm Snug Harbor on Old San Carlos is hosting an all day Mardi Gras Celebration with proceeds going to Friends of The Arts. Along with the Cajun Food, the Troublemakers will play from 2-6, prizes will be raffled off and a silent auction will be held.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade Canceled
The parade which has been organized by Fort Myers Beach Mayor Ray Murphy for over two decades will miss its second consecutive year due to COVID. The parade, held on the south end, from the Santini Plaza to the Church of the Ascension, has been rescheduled for March 17, 2022.
