Many Fort Myers Beach residents have complained about Adam Lacroix. He travels the beach pushing his religious beliefs on everyone walking by him using a bullhorn. Lacroix has been accused by the locals of calling people names because of how he perceives their lifestyle.

Several Fort Myers Beach restaurants have been told they can no longer use outdoor propane heaters to keep their customers warm at night. One restaurant was told 25 heaters could no longer be used while another said every single heater they had was red flagged.

Katy Hosokawa, who joined the team at J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge as a visitor services intern in June 2020, began her first day as a full-time refuge ranger this week.

The lack of lighting on Estero Boulevard could be one of the most studied issues on Fort Myers Beach. Last week the town council decided to hire its 4th consultant on the issue. Estero Boulevard is one of the busiest roads in all of Lee County, especially during season, and one of the darkest once the sun goes down.

This Sunday at 10AM Beach Talk Radio launches on the beautiful island of Sanibel. Over the last two years we've had many guests from Sanibel on our show, so this new show makes perfect sense. And, there's a very important city council election coming up March 2nd. Our Sunday morning show will be broadcast from The Island Cow and we'd like to thank owner Brian Podlasek for this new partnership.

This past Saturday between 40 and 50 people took part in The Pub Without The Pub Crawl following the cancellation of the Woman's Club Putt & Pub Crawl due to COVID-19. The goal was to save some of the money collected each year and distributed to several community organizations.
