At 5PM today, we'll have a special interview with Tom Ashford, who has a home on Fort Myers Beach, and contributed to the recently constructed Blue Star Memorial at the library in honor of his Dad.

County Commissioners recently appointed City of Sanibel Mayor Holly Smith to the Lee County Tourist Development Council for a two-year term. This is her second appointment to the council. Smith is not only the Mayor of Sanibel, she's an owner/operator of hotel properties in Lee County.
